Where Aeneas Coffey first tested his continuous still and the spirit safe was invented. Closed in 1983, its remaining casks became the most prized Islay whisky on the market. Diageo rebuilt it with the original 'Phoenix' stills reproduced and two experimental stills, reopening in 2024.
